About Us
The M5M Foundation is an independent 501c (3) non-profit charity organization. It was officially launched on January 1, 2015. Executive Director Sarah Louthan oversees the daily operations as well as coordinates the expansion of the organization’s efforts. Sarah has traveled extensively throughout her career, attending international mission outreaches and experiencing firsthand the effects of childhood malnutrition. In 2014, she had the privilege of visiting Guatemala with one of our partners, RU 4 Children, which solidified her passion to help others. Her dream has been realized with the M5M Foundation.

Our Team
LANDEN FREDRICK
Landen Fredrick is the chairman of the M5M℠ Foundation, a non-profit organization benefiting children in need by fighting global malnutrition.
At Mannatech, Fredrick oversees Global Sales. He is passionate about creating the best customer experience possible for Mannatech’s independent Sales Associates. Having been a part of Mannatech since 2006, Fredrick has played a key role in developing and driving systems to create efficiencies and manage scale for a company on the Direct Selling News’ Global 100 list.
Fredrick’s experience in direct selling has spanned almost 20 years and three companies where he has climbed the ranks from sales to operations with each engagement. Prior to joining Mannatech, he had five years of advertising experience as the owner of Killian Fredrick, LLC. Before that he was a consultant with a banking software company.
Fredrick earned his B.A. from Abilene Christian University, with an emphasis on International Business and Japanese. He later earned his MBA from Amber University. He is married with three children, is an avid outdoorsman and has had a lifelong involvement in church activities.
MARK SHANK
Mark Shank is a partner with the law firm Diamond McCarthy LLP. Practicing law since September 1979, Shank is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. He represents clients in a variety of labor, employment (advice and litigation), business and litigation matters, as well as investigations. He also has experience with disputes involving covenants not to compete, confidentiality, trade secret, disputes involving or among boards of directors and investigations. He routinely represents companies and executives in disputes and transactions involving executive compensation and related issues. Mr. Shank currently serves as legal counsel to U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions.
Shank has received numerous accolades and awards throughout his career including recognition in “Best Lawyers in Dallas” by D Magazine from 2001 to present; “Top 100 Lawyers in Texas” and “Top 100 Lawyers in Dallas” by Law & Politics Magazine and Texas Monthly, and selected by his peers for “Best Lawyers in America, Commercial Litigation and Labor & Employment Litigation” from 1995 – 2012.
AL BALA
Lorrie has been a CPA in the accounting industry for more than 30 years. She has practiced in various tax accounting areas, working at a large national ‘Big 4’ firm and a Fortune 50 company. In addition to her tax experience, Lorrie has more than a decade of work in the direct sales industry. Currently living and working in Austin, Lorrie’s passion for people has led to local involvement with Impact Austin, church planting, prayer ministry, and service among the homeless population of Austin.
She brings her energy and excitement to the efforts of a highly motivated team, whose heads, hearts, and hands are clearly aligned in a mission of changing lives for children around the world.
CHRIS SIMONS
Chris Simons currently serves as Mannatech’s Regional President. Simons has provided pivotal leadership in these markets and in supporting the implementation of the company’s 3-Point Plan system, which helps sales Associates advance their business and personal development. Prior to his time at Mannatech, Simons spent 19 years in the direct sales industry as a field leader and business manager for one of the largest independent networks of direct sellers in the world.
Over his career, he has played an integral role in launching many new markets, including South Africa, Malaysia, India, China, Turkey, Indonesia, Thailand and many countries in Europe. He has overseen the deployment of global systems incorporating events and business education platforms that have resulted in more than $1 billion in revenues in those specific markets. Simons is known for working very closely with his field leaders, and creating a market where those leaders have the freedom and support to thrive, while also building an operation that is set up for ongoing, sustainable business.
